Re-Creation | Supreme Schott Parachute Puffer Jacket
Schott NYC has been making jackets since 1913. They invented the motorcycle jacket in 1928. Their name is built entirely on leather. So when Supreme tapped them for a glossy nylon puffer in the Spring/Summer 2026 collection, it was a deliberate move to push Schott into territory they have never occupied on their own. The Supreme Schott Puffer Jacket uses water resistant high shine parachute nylon on the outer shell with Schott’s own down-insulated quilted baffles inside, and the result is a puffer that carries over a century of outerwear credibility under a surface finish that looks nothing like anything Schott has ever released.
That Shine Is the Whole Point
The Schott Supreme Puffer Jacket Blue is the colourway that shows off the glossy nylon best. The electric royal blue surface catches and reflects light the way patent leather does, which gives the jacket a presence that matte puffers cannot match. Water beads off the surface rather than soaking in, and the nylon holds its shape and shine through regular wear. A two-way full zip runs the length of the front with snap closures at the collar for additional wind protection. Welt snap hand pockets sit at the lower front, and an interior zip pocket adds secure storage without adding bulk to the silhouette.
Black for the Ones Who Want Shine Without Colour
The Supreme x Schott Black Puffer Jacket keeps the same glossy nylon but removes the colour conversation entirely. The high shine finish still catches light, but in black, it reads more like a polished evening layer than a streetwear statement piece. It pairs with nearly anything in your closet and works across seasons because the lightweight down fill provides warmth without the bulk of a heavy winter puffer. Elastic cuffs and an adjustable hem seal in heat at every opening point.
Camo on a Glossy Shell Hits Different
The Supreme Schott Camo Puffer Jacket is the wildcard of the three. Camo on a matte surface is standard. Camo on a glossy surface changes the way the pattern reads because the reflected light creates depth shifts across the print that a flat fabric never produces. The woodland pattern moves between shadow and highlight depending on the angle, which makes it look like a completely different jacket in daylight versus evening. Denver Jackets carries all three colourways in this re-creation from XS through 6XL with a custom size option for men and women.
Keep It Clean, Keep It Glossy
The glossy nylon is easy to maintain. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth for day-to-day marks. For a deeper clean, machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low with tennis balls to keep the down fill from clumping. The shine holds up through washes as long as you avoid bleach and high heat. Dark jeans or cargo pants with clean sneakers are the easiest pairing across all three colours. A plain tee or hoodie underneath lets the jacket’s surface do all the talking.
